One of the biggest things overlooked by ATV manufactures is a way to keep an eye on the coolant temperature of liquid cooled ATV motors. Heat can easily wear down and eventually destroy that very expensive motor if left unchecked.
This gauge measures the temperature of the engine coolant in degrees. It is very important to monitor the temperature gauge to be sure that your engine is not overheating. If the motor starts to overheat, the temperature gauge will give you the extra time needed to avoid heat damage and breakdown. This can also give you great insight into whether you need to take greater measures to ensure you're engine stays cool and runs at peak performance. Therefore this is quite possibly one of the most inexpensive and yet very important items that can easily be added to any liquid cooled motor!
