They're HERE!!! Rhino Half-Doors are a product that our customers have been begging for for the past couple of years. We've been searching the market and we've tested these door...and they have received the High Lifter Stamp-of-Approval!
These Rhino halfdoors are constructed from ½” thick PVC plastic. PVC is a lightweight durable plastic ideal for a lightweight halfdoor. This material also readily accepts paint if you desire a custom look for your Rhino.
The hardware consists of powder coated steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins and striker bolts.
These Rhino Half-Doors incorporate a unique latching system which is the best available. It addresses the “pop open” issue which many door manufacturers experience in extreme flexing of the Rhino chassis. The latch/striker combo incorporates a striker which captures a 5/16” stainless steel spring loaded slide bolt. The striker will not release the slide bolt but the slide bolt must be pulled out of the striker to open the halfdoor. The halfdoor closes like an automobile door by simply swinging closed whereby the slide bolt snaps into place in the striker.
The hinges attach to the Rhino frame by a combination of utilizing the existing frame bolts and using easy-to-use drive rivets. All hardware is included even the drill bit for the drive rivets.
Installation can be completed easily within 1 ½ hours.
Once installed, the halfdoors can be easily removed by lifting the halfdoor off the frame mounted hinges. The hinges left on the frame are out of the way and remain there ready to have the halfdoors reinstalled at any time.

These halfdoors are not designed nor intended to be a safety device. The halfdoors will not perform the functions of an automotive type door relating to safety. It is imperative that all riders observe the safety rules and recommendations of the manufacturer of the vehicle.
